Job Description:
About the Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for leading the Plant in its mission of safely producing quality Non-Dairy Coffee creamer at a competitive cost. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Directing, and coordinating a multiple shift production facility in the manufacturing process from receipt of raw ingredients to the production of the final product.
• Developing and directing employees and leaders, which ensures employee safety, product safety, product quality, product efficiency and ultimately the product profitability.
• Establishing clear goals and accountability to subordinates and providing performance feedback on a regular basis. Mentoring, developing and training subordinates in current position and for future career growth.
• Assessing production capabilities of the department and making recommendations in order to maintain pace with demand.
• Working with outside vendors and internal engineering in the design of production lines and production equipment.
• Coordinating with Production Scheduling on efficient run strategies and adjusting schedules between shifts as necessary to maintain full efficient production.
• Ensuring continuous improvements at all levels and in all processes within scope of responsibility.
• Creating an environment for employee participation, empowerment and perception of being stakeholders.
• Assisting in the development of a plant budget and capital plan, helping develop and implement the strategic plan.
• Maintaining food safety in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.

About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience in progressively expanding roles including a minimum of two (2) years in a plant leadership role.
• A strong desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with the latest Manufacturing Improvement methods and procedures to drive business results and customer satisfaction.
• Leadership skills and experience to thoroughly develop/challenge the organization to achieve high performance.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities to achieve desired financial, quality and customer service goals.
