Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Production Control Manager to join our Elmendorf and Springfield Assembly Plant. The purpose of this position is to lead order scheduling activities while balancing customer expectations with Manufacturing/Quality processes. Will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Import/Export Orders
  • Sequence/Re-sequence Orders
  • Add/Remove Holds
  • Set In/Set Outs/Pulls
  • Maintain Production Constraints
  • Daily End of Day Build Reconciliation
  • Review/Correct Reports
  • Communicate/Coordinate with Remote Scheduler
  • Ensure on Time Delivery to Final Destinations
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of production/manufacturing and/or customer service experience
  • 2 years management experience

OR

  • Master's degree
  • 6 years of production/manufacturing and/or customer service experience
  • 2 years management experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of production/manufacturing and/or customer service experience
  • 2 years of management experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

  • Demonstrated capabilities in problem-solving and process management
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels
  • Experience managing production scheduling
  • Experience coordinating and managing multiple production areas activities
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with Scheduling systems, highly prefer FLEXIS experience
