Job description

• Assist in tracking and coordination of custom import approval samples, support Buyer in reviewing samples for product accuracy; communicating revisions accordingly with overseas supplier
• Assist in routing and tracking of New Component Forms and Samples to all production departments
• Coordinate samples for overseas product testing and inspections
• Coordinate and organize new product inquiries for quotes, inventory level status and samples
• Assist in New Vendor Set-up
• Document and maintain master list of new components for status
• Submit new samples to QC Library accordingly
• Assist in submitting Vendor Manual and Agreements for vendor signature and negotiations
• Coordinate inbound samples for buyer review
• Coordinate outbound samples for vendor, inspections
• Coordinate Meeting Notes, send recap as needed
• Order competitive samples, as needed
• Entering new product sample orders as needed
• General website maintenance

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Burr Ridge, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)
• Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)
