· Facilitate our teachers and paraprofessionals implementing curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.

· Build positive relationships with families, teachers and community stakeholders.
The Principal under the direction of the Director of Children Services coordinates the delivery of exceptional student programs for Early Beginnings Academy and Afterschool programs. This position will coordinate educational placement and appropriate services for students with disabilities, serve as LEA representative at eligibility, re-evaluation, and Individual Education Plan (IEP), assist schools with the implementation of IDEA Federal and State regulations for students with disabilities and provide support areas of curriculum and instruction, behavior supports, service delivery models and staff development to address the needs of students with disabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
A strong desire to bring joy to children. Ability to think creatively and use innovative techniques to encourage learning. Capacity to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens and meaningful connections occur. A love of knowledge and in return a desire to share knowledge. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage multiple situations effectively and a strong sense of integrity and accountability. A desire to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience (preferred) - Education and Training: (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or Master’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Active Florida Director Credential Advanced preferred
- Florida Teaching Certificate
- Supervisory experience, educational programs, budgeting, and marketing (5+ years).
- Statement of Eligibility in certification(s) K12 ESE and General Education K6 or age 3 to grade 3
- Must obtain DCF 45 hours by 1 year of employment and Directors Credential
