Canyonside Christian School, Inc. is a non-denominational, evangelistic Christian school, which provides an outstanding academic education based on Christian principles. Canyonside is committed to providing children with excellence in developmental and academic training from preschool through elementary school. Our goal is to facilitate the development of the children: academically, physically, socially, and spiritually. The CCS curriculum is taught by educators and administrators who serve as role models in their Christian walk, and who are maturing in both their professional life and their Christian faith.

Looking for a qualified preschool teacher with experience in early childhood care. This position is responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development in young children and may involve developmental, educational, health, and safety assessments. The successful candidate will be dedicated, energetic and enjoy working with children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain a safe learning environment for preschool pupils.
• Teach children basic academic skills such as reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Teach children how to interact properly with other people.
• Teach children social skills such as sharing and being considerate towards others.
• Teach children how to behave and obey rules.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Be aware of the new federal regulations that are effecting early childhood education.
• Make sure that all preschoolers in the class are doing what they should be doing at the same time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
