Natomas Veterinary Hospital is a fast growing, privately-owned, small animal veterinary hospital that is highly valued by the community for our quality and compassionate care. We are looking for a new Practice Manager to lead our team and help us grow. Working in partnership with the medical director, the practice manager will help organize and orchestrate daily tasks needed to keep our staff, patients, and clientele safe and happy. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to play a key role in the development and promotion of the business and can help maximize practice performance.

About our team:

Natomas Veterinary Hospital has been a staple of the community for the past 13 years. We are a busy, 100% small animal focused practice dealing with a wide range of routine and challenging cases. We work closely with specialists to provide gold standard medicine. We have a cohesive team of 3 veterinarians with 12 support staff and are planning to grow significantly over the next two years. Our success and growth are achieved by looking after our clients, their pets and supporting our colleagues.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of team management experience or HR management

· Veterinary experience desired, CVPM certification ideal

· Role model to all staff, providing advice, support and promoting best practices.

· Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

· Effective communication

· Leadership and a “Can-do” attitude

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Human Resource Management

· Daily Operational Management

· Maintain compliance of all State and Federal laws, OSHA and California Veterinary Medical Board regulations

· Client Relations

· Assist with financial planning including payroll and labor management

· Management of facilities, equipment, and technology

Salary range 70k -95k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
