Practice Manager

We are seeking competent, conscientious, service-oriented individuals with strong character and prior healthcare management/healthcare administration experience to manage one of our physician medical offices in Wesley Chapel. This individual will manage day-to-day business, clinical and billing operations and be involved in practice growth planning. They will work under the direction of the division physicians and the Gastro Florida corporate office.

Requirements:
High school graduate with 5 years of medical office experience, including at least 2 years of healthcare administration or healthcare management experience serving in the role of Practice Manager, Medical Office Manager or Office Lead. OR

College graduate in healthcare administration, business administration or related field with 2 years of medical office management experience OR

College graduate with 5 years of healthcare experience with supervisory experience.

Must posses the ability to build rapport, establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with physicians & other healthcare leaders while working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office products. Experience utilizing EMR/practice management systems. RCM or Medical Billing experience preferred.

Lean Six Sigma experience can substitute for some requirements.

Criminal background and drug screening required as well as excellent professional references.

Some openings will require Spanish fluency.

Role:

Patient Experience

- Ensure all patient touch-points are monitored for great service and constantly analyzed for improvement. Perform functions and fill gaps during staff shortages.

- Monitors patient satisfaction and coordinates service recovery efforts.

- Manages physician schedules to optimize capacity and the patient experience.

- Ensures patient appointment and communication methods are well-functioning.

- Utilize EMR/practice management systems to optimize workflows.

Human Resources, Compliance, and Administration

- Performs human resource duties for the medical practice, including appropriate staffing, training, supervision, performance management and timely administration of corporate HR functions.

- Able to maintain a compliant environment for regulatory requirements and serves as HIPAA/Privacy Officer liaison.

- Acts as a liaison and conduit for the Central Business Office, ensuring implementation and compliance of all corporate policies and procedures.

- Tracks performance and recommends strategies to meet government incentives.

- Ensures medical practice is welcoming, hygienic, clean, and safe.

- Monitors equipment, inventory, and supplies; and interfaces with vendors and corporate office for value-based purchasing.

Billing

- Steward of efficient revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, authorizations, charge capture, coding, and collections for services rendered at the medical office, surgery center, and hospital that will require interfacing with payers, patients, facility, and corporate office.

Business Development & Planning

- Participates in planning, marketing, and business development of the medical practice, which includes strong communications with referring physicians and the community.

- Attends and contributes to corporate office meetings.

- Develop and/or maintain office policies and procedures to address above.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
