We are hiring for a Power BI Developer who will design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and create meaningful insights using Power BI tools. Responsibilities also include updating, maintaining, and migrating existing Halo BI dashboards and reports, as well as providing training and support to other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Use Power BI/Data Analytics to enable business areas to efficiently visualize large amounts of data from various ERPs and Enterprise Applications
• Develop both paginated and interactive visual reports, dashboards, and charts using Microsoft Power BI desktop
• Connect to various data sources to import, transform data, and build Power BI reporting models
• Analyze, design, deploy, troubleshoot, and support all aspects relating to refresh schedules, data, reports, and access for Power BI reports and dashboards
• Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights
• Combine data from several sources including, but not limited to, D365 F&O, AX2012, AX03, D365 Marketing and Sales (CE) Environments, along with Azure SQL Databases
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
• Use advanced features of Power BI including Power Query, DAX, slices, and filters
• Update and maintain existing BI dashboards in Halo BI Platform
• Convert Halo BI Reports and Dashboards to Power BI Reports and Dashboards
• Implement data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years related experience at the same level
• 5+ years of recent ground up custom build experience using Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Tabular Editor designing Power BI data models
• 5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and implementing role level security
• Ability to understand data modeling, data schemas (i.e. normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.), query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques
• Experience with platforms including Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Proficiency with paginated report development using SSRS
• Working knowledge of Atlas Environment
