The Player Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Player Development and Sales, Player Development Manager and Host Team in hosting Premium players in a gracious and amiable manner relative to their gaming action and overall worth to the property. Provides administrative assistance for casino events and promotions.
Responsibilities:
- Player Development Coordinator will assist the Director of Player Development and Sales, Player Development Manager, Player’s Club Manager, Marketing Manager and Hosts in hosting Premium level casino customers in a gracious and amiable manner relative to each players’ gaming action and overall worth to the property.
- Answering guest questions and handle complaints. Knowledgeable of all casino events and promotions for communication to our guests.
- Participate in events, parties and promotions when requested especially when directed towards Premium casino players.
- Act as customer service liaison with Casino to ensure the needs of the casino customers are met.
- Ensure effective communication with the Director of Player Development and Sales, Playerevelopment Manager, Player’s Club Manager and Marketing Manager in order to maintain a constant flow of information.
- Player Development Coordinator will augment special events/promotions through telemarketing, direct marketing, personal communications and other methods to ensure effectiveness and as a follow-up at the conclusion.
- Assists hosts and players with reservations for hotel, spa, restaurants and other property amenities.
- Create, develop and distribute various reports that track the performance of the Player Development Team. For example, hotel comp report, restaurant comp report, etc…
- Be proficient in software used by the Player Development team.
- Player Development Coordinator will deliver internal documents, as needed by the Player Development Team.
- Any and all other duties required by the Director of Player Development and Sales, Players Club Manager, marketing Manager and Player Development Manager.

- Maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos.
Required Education and Work Experience
- High school required
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office
- Prefer minimum of 3 years office experience
- Prefer some guest service background
