The Margaret Murphy Centers for Children are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Lewiston/Auburn Locations! Here at MMCC the Physical Therapist will lead the process in development, implementation, and coordination of Physical Therapy (PT) services for center-based as well as outpatient clientele. Job responsibilities include screening, evaluation, educational programming, transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and discharge planning will be provided to students as appropriate. The Physical Therapist must be able to collaborate with other disciplines and services, use sound clinical reasoning and professional judgement, and independently review outcomes and modify treatment plans for identified students. The Physical Therapist must be knowledgeable of and comply with state and federal regulations, mandates, and requirements within the field of Physical Therapy and special education under the Department of Education.

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Licensure as Physical Therapist within the State of Maine. Two years experience working in pediatric care is preferred.
