Job description
Under pharmacist supervision, the Pharmacy Technician will fill medication orders for patients, restock medication locations outside the Pharmacy, prepare sterile solutions for infusion and assist the Pharmacists in the performance of their duties. The Pharmacy Technician collaborates with Pharmacists and other members of the healthcare team to promote effective and safe medication use throughout the institution.Requirements: High School Graduate/GED required. Desire Pharmacy Technician license from State of Indiana. If not licensed, must participate in the Indiana Technician-in-Training program operated by Good Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy. Previous Pharmacy Technician experience highly preferred. Associate Degree from accredited Pharmacy Technician program is a plus.

Schedule: PRN Permanent, Day/Evening Shift, Mon-Sun 6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm or 1:30pm-10pm 2:30pm-11pm
