Job description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Pharmacist Inpatient

Shift: Nights / 10p-8a (10x4) 40 hours per week


Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MN License
  • 1 year experience
  • Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient/Acute Care
  • Successfully completed NAPLEX required
  • PharmD required
  • BLS
  • First-timers accepted: Depending on experience/training - open to first timers
  • Charting: Epic (Excellian)
*7 Days on/7 Days off*
Position / Specialty: Inpatient Pharmacist
Shift: 2200-8AM (10-hour shifts), 7 days a week (Monday thru Sunday)
Dispensing Volume: 6000 doses admin/day
Years of experience REQ: 1 year experience required
First-timers accepted: Depending on experience/training - open to first timers.
Weekend REQ: Will work weekends during 7 on/7 off rotation- every other based on 7 on/7 off rotation
Certs REQ: PharmD required. BLS required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Schedule is blocked- 7 on and 7 off.
Locals accepted: Yes. What is the local radius rule? N/A
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient/Acute Care
Pharmacist - Dosing Experience Required: Anticoagulants, Clinical Dosing, high Risk medications, Pharmacokinetic Dosing, Renal Dosing, Therapeutic Med Monitoring, Warfarin Dosing
Pharmacist - Intravenous Experience Required: Antibiotics, Chemotherapy, Compounding, IV Piggyback, IV Push Medications, Pain Controlled Analgesia, Prepacking, Sterile Technique
Pharmacist - Pharmacotherapy Management Experience Required: Infectious Diseases, Neurologic. Cardiovascular experience preferred.
