Description
Responsible for the scheduling of patient appointments with physicians (new and follow-up); cancer center treatments& procedures; referrals; external tests and procedures from physician written and verbal orders in a timely, accurate and efficient manner while remaining sensitive to the needs of the patients, their families and fellow employees to ensure a smooth and orderly work flow. The percentage may vary depending on the specific department.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- 1 year of experience in a Healthcare Environment including medical scheduling experience required.
- Computerized medical scheduling experience strongly preferred.
