As a Warehouse Laborer, you are a valued member of our team, performing:

• Receiving and validating correct count of incoming part shipments
• Shipping parts – coordinating activities with delivery drivers and outbound freight carriers
• Stocks and pulls inventory including organizing shelves and rotating stock
• Assists with inventory control functions, maintaining accurate bin locations, quantity verifications
• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse and clean workspace

Preferred Candidates have the following:

• Employee must have the ability to move extremities and spine throughout a sufficient range of motion that will permit the employee to work in a variety of postures involving a range from floor to overhead level. Flexing and twisting of the trunk and other awkward postures are occasionally required while retrieving and stocking product.
• Employee must have good dexterity and frequently use one and two hands throughout the work period when driving the forklift and handling product.
• Employee must be able to grip to climb up and down on the forklift, drive the forklift and to stock/retrieve product.
• Employee must have sufficient cardiorespiratory fitness to be able to do heavy work for short periods of time, handling heavy product in heat and humid conditions, inside and out.
• Employee must be able to demonstrate that he/she can safely:
  • lift at least 75 lbs from floor to knuckle on an occasional basis,
  • lift at least 75 lbs from floor to waist on an occasional basis,
  • lift at least 40 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis,
  • carry at least 75 lbs with two hands for a minimum distance of 5 feet on level surface,
  • pull horizontally with a peak force of 100 lbs with two hands
  • push horizontally with a peak force of 100 lbs with two hands
