Lincoln Contractors Supply is a family owned company founded in 1956 by Alfred Knief and Wilmer Guenther. Since then, LCS has grown to operate 11 locations throughout the state of Wisconsin. Parts Department Clerk

Reports to: Parts Department Manager

Main Function: Lincoln Contractors Supply is seeking a dedicated individual for our Parts Department. Much of the duties will involve receiving in parts orders, replacing, and maintaining shelf stock. However, you will also work with our customers, branches, and mechanics to provide them with the parts and supplies they require.

Typical Duties

  • Receive and place parts orders from vendors
  • Restock shelves when needed. Review and fill branch parts requests
  • Work with customers and branch locations to determine parts needs
  • Research parts diagrams and breakdowns
  • Prepare customer orders for shipping
  • Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Essential Skills

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stretch and reach regularly
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer skills sufficient to operate a Windows based PC without supervision and the ability to learn sales, service, and rental programs.

Desired Skills

  • Prior parts counter experience or inside sales experience
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) is appreciated
  • Familiarity with construction equipment and tools
  • Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The Parts Dept Clerk will be required to have proficient computer skills for maintaining accurate customer/vendor relations. You must also have strong inter-personal skills to openly maintain quality communications with all internal and external customers. You will also be required to maintain a quality work appearance following company shop uniform guidelines. Job specifics may be changed at anytime
