We are a growing company seeking a reliable individual to fill a self-storage associate position at our new location in Lake Geneva. The position will involve an average of 15-20 hours per week with the potential for more hours if desired, as we hope to expand within the area.

Our company puts a big emphasis on supporting our team and creating a positive work environment. Our offices are all closed by 5pm so there are no night hours!

Overview of the position: helping customers with all their storage needs, following up on sales leads and inquiries, processing payments, managing delinquencies, and keeping the facility in the best shape through light maintenance and frequent property walks. A great mix of desk and non-desk functions.

If you love the idea of helping customers find solutions to their problems (need to clear furniture while they sell their house, need to store things while kids are at college, lost a loved one and don't have space for all their things but aren't ready to sort through it all yet, moving into an apartment together and need to store things until they find a bigger place) and you take pride in your ability to keep a space clean and welcoming, this job is an awesome fit!

This is an hourly position that will require working some Saturdays.

Job requirements:
- Reliable, conscientious, detail-oriented, self-motivated
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Basic computer literacy
- Several years of sales or customer service experience

Daily duties include:
- Helping people find storage solutions to meet their needs
- Responding to all reservations within one hour during workday
- Meeting customers at locations as needed
- Operating storage software after receiving training
- Calling delinquent customers to request payment on overdue units
- Performing facility walk-through, inspecting storage units and over-lock or unlock as needed
- Inspecting premises to report maintenance issues
- Disposing of abandoned items
- Daily bank deposits and reporting to corporate office
- Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, pick up garbage, cleaning office, cleaning vacant storage units, etc.)

This position pays $12 to $13 per hour plus potential for monthly bonuses and is a year-round position. 401(k) matching is available to all employees.
