Part Time Medical Access Program (MAP) Outreach Specialist

The Richmond County Health Department is seeking a part-time MAP Outreach Specialist.

The Medical Access Program helps uninsured individuals who meet a financial guideline obtain quality primary medical care. This candidate will recruit patients for this program through community networking, obtain patient information, and help qualify patients for the program.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.

Education/Experience

High School graduate with 1 to 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Basic Computer skills are required.

This position is grant funded and funding is granted on a year-to-year basis.

Salary Range is $12.00 – $14.00 per hour based on experience.
