Job description

Eagle Communications in St. Joseph, MO is currently hiring a part-time board operator. This position will monitor the on-air status, commercial log and programming schedule for 5 local radio stations. Voice Tracking fill in shifts and remote broadcast opportunities may also be available for a person with prior experience and skill set.

Additional responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

- Helping with severe weather coverage when the employee is at the station
- Answer phone inquiries and update any school and business closings with our local listening area
- Input commercial and other audio as needed by Program Director and/or Production Director.
- Take transmitter technical read outs and report irregularities in transmission signal, power levels, tower lights, or any other station issue to supervisor.

This position is open to all applicants 16 years of age and older.

Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Eligibility to participate in our company 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) upon meeting requirements.
