POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Development and maintenance of the outreach program infrastructure including, but not limited to, the program plan, program policies and program procedures.
• Development and implementation of the training curriculum for the farmworker outreach program and monitoring of staff participation and completion of required federal training for the health insurance exchange assistance program.
• Coordinate education activities to raise awareness about coverage options available under Medicaid, CHIP and the federal Insurance Marketplace.
• Coordinate staff participation in community events to raise public awareness of the availability of AH’s health insurance exchange assistance program.
• Collaborate with community agencies to coordinate outreach activities to avoid duplication and expand access.
• Development and implementation of documentation system to track outreach activities (education/assistance/enrollment contacts).
• Monitor productivity of outreach staff and progress towards the goals and objectives of the individual outreach programs.
• Provide a mechanism for analyzing outreach activity data and reporting the data to administration to comply with federal reporting requirements.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of outreach staff, providing feedback and guidance as necessary, to ensure staff compliance with program requirements and attainment of program goals and objectives.
• Participate in population/community needs assessment activities as directed by supervisor.
• Personal transportation and a valid driver’s license required for performance of duties.
• Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

• Must successfully complete company-sponsored online Consumer Assistance Counselor (CAC) training course within 30 days of hire date.
• Must possess valid Driver License
