Summary of Position:
Responsible for providing analytical support to the field and store teams to assist with smooth inventory flow that enables the company to meet its sales, profitability and customer service goals. Responsible for managing store support communications, research and inventory analysis, providing guidance and solutions through exception adjustments to target store inventory and service levels within company standards. Responsible for executing initial system setup and post opening performance adjustments for relocation, expansion, reopen and new stores for assortment eligibility and replenishment parameters. Provide support for all special projects, daily tasks, reporting and coordination with business teams. Manage timely execution of various department reports, processing exception queries for system validations and data accuracy to identify issues and resolve.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the department emails for store support communications. Analyze store inventory and sales trends to determine support action. Schedule support tasks, coordinating with business partners for issue resolution.
  • Coordinate all approved store divert requests and provide business partners accurate data to ensure transfers executed timely.
  • Provide support to maintain and update store processing schedules for DC and suppliers.
  • Assist with DC and vendor realignments for schedule updates and providing Store Operations communication of revisions.
  • Responsible for initial system setup to support assortment eligibility and replenishment parameters for expansion, relocation, reopen and new stores. Execute post opening sales and inventory review to make adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate processing schedule changes and order adjustments as needed to support store physical inventory schedule.
  • Create and post corporate requested cycle counts for the stores as requested.
  • Execute various department queries on defined schedules for system validations, data accuracy, analyzing results and timely issue resolution.
  • Provide support for all company initiatives and special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: One or more years of related retail experience understanding merchandising and inventory management.
Computer Skills: Excel, Basic MS Word, Outlook, exposure to SQL or Showcase queries a plus.
Job Related Skills: Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail, strong independent decision making skills, able to effectively under deadlines while handling multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong cross functional relationships with all levels of management.
