Private Eyewear, Newark's #1 optical, is expanding into Jersey City, NJ! We are seeking an Optician/Sales Associate with 1+ year of industry experience to join the team.

How you will make a difference as an Optician/Sales Associate:

- Help achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires

- Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their visual needs as well as lifestyle preferences

- Order frames and lenses from vendors

- Assist with frame adjustments and repairs

- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise

- Optical skills and sales experience (required)

- Comfortable working with the public

- Have an eye for fashion and style

- Strong customer service skills needed to create, maintain and enhance patient relationships

- Computer literate

- Quick learner

We are a locally owned optical open six days a week from Monday - Saturday. Private Eyewear is operated by Michael, our licensed Optician with over 10+ years of experience in the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
