We currently are accepting resumes for the position of Ophthalmic Assistant in our Champions Office on FM 1960.
Ideal Candidates have 3+ years of technician experience in a vision care environment.
Ideal Skill Set should include most of the following:
- Manual Refractions,
- Ability to read glasses on manual lensometer,
- Tonometry,
- Visual Fields,
- OCT,
- A-Scan,
- Topography
- Knowledge of all aspects contact lens fitting, training and ordering.
Computer Skills (experience on Electronic Medical Records a plus but will train OA with proper patient work-up skills)
MONDAY: 9AM – 6PM
TUESDAY – THURSDAY: 8AM – 5PM
FRIDAY: 7AM – 1PM
*SATURDAY: 8:30AM – 12:30PM
*1 Saturday assignment per month should be expected.

Pay for this position is based on skillset and depth of experience.
