Job Description

Under general supervision, the Operator I performs a variety of processing duties according to packaging batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the packaging department including, but not limited to set-up, filling, cleaning, case packing, and material handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and prefer one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• SOP’s, cGMP’s, equipment and safety practices.
• Standard Operating Procedures for packaging rooms and manufacturing area.
• GMP compliance in a regulated work environment.
• Packaging processes and equipment procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Record keeping skills.
