Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Orient and Train: Give employees the information, technology, and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs. Realizing that training is an ongoing activity, crucial for new staff as well as for long-term staff who takes on new responsibilities or who experience changes in the way their existing duties need to be performed.
- Assign work: Assign certain duties to the lead and/or employee, explaining how those duties are to be done (i.e. what level of performance will meet the supervisor’s expectations) and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured. Ensure that the lead and/or employee is working under a current job description and in a classification appropriate to the duties.
- Responsible for compliance with company HR and Safety Policies.
- Responsible for compliance with Manufacturing housekeeping and 5S procedures at all times while in the facility.
- Must understand and abide by all required performance standards of productivity for assigned job function and communicating problems or concerns to manager or human resources.
- Support Supervisors will have a preemptive approach to all duty responsibilities with a “CAN-DO” attitude for effective leadership
- Enforce all NOTS Work Instructions/Procedures relative to Uniform Safety standards
- Be successful in shift management of all issued equipment inventory (PIT/Radio/RF Scanner/PPE-Safety glasses)
- Have oversight in the coordination of all material movement to meet / exceed production frequency
- Meet / exceed conformity timetable for material delivery within compliant standards
- Professionally cultivates Team Leader in all Supervision’s roles / responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain effective communication with all client leadership for business continuity (relationship building)
- Address all administrative action and personal concerns actively with shift subordinates
- Set / lead and become “the” authoritative examples for all employees to emulate by provision of training (initial, remedial, and annual), counseling etc.
- Follow / execute the directions, instructions, and guidance of client / tier leadership
- Adhere to the NLGA Code of Ethics and Business Conduct at all times.
- Act as the first line representative of Nots Logistics / Customer at all times within duty operation
- Performs other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by company management
- Communicate effectively and efficiently in a timely manner
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business needs
Hours - Rotating 12 hour shifts, 6:00pm to 6:00am
Pay- Based on experience and starts at $50,000/year
