Job description

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team at a premier event venue in New Virginia, IA. As the Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the venue is always impeccably organized and ready for events. You will also be responsible for resetting table layouts, working events, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the venue is always in meticulous shape and organized (not responsible for cleaning)
• Helping to reset table layouts according to event requirements
• Managing inventory and décor items to ensure they are properly stored and maintained - reordering items as necessary
• Working events, including nights and weekends to ensure operations and processes are followed with the team
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for event set-up, execution, and tear-down
• Liaising with our team to ensure smooth execution of events
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular inventory audits
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless event execution

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
