The Job You Will Perform:
The Rome Mill is seeking an Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC), Paper. The OMC is responsible for coordination of the operations and maintenance functions within the department to maximize the budgets and the reliability of equipment. The OMC will accomplish results by facilitating the MWS process and driving reliability best practices into the daily operation of the business in the Paper areas. The OMC, Paper reports to the Business Unit Manager, Paper.
- Facilitate the area MWS process. The OMC is responsible for ensuring the MWS process is followed in the area.
- Schedule, coordinate, and lead field days and annual outages involving operations, maintenance, contractors, engineering, etc.
- Manage area maintenance budgets to keep spending at target
- Works with maintenance staff to determine ways to assure and improve the reliability of equipment and systems.
- Assure safety awareness, safe work and compliance with safety rules and policies in all work performed by Crew.
- Provides assistance and technical advice necessary to assist in the operations process.
- Leadership, including workforce engagement, diversity, employee development and labor relations.
- Communicate mill and department performance levels and standards to Operators.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with Plant Rules, SOPs and Corporate Policies and Requirements.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- High School Diploma required, Engineering degree preferred.
- Pulp & Paper Mill Supervision experience required.
