Our client is a Registered Investment Advisor and they are seeking a Senior Operations Associate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the firm's Portfolio Managers for all investment-related operational processes.
Your role:
- Interacting with banking and other counterparty relationships to price securities, facilitate trade execution, and solve operational issues
- Coordinating with different internal groups, including Portfolio Managers and Accounting Team, to ensure smooth functioning of various operational processes
- Dealing with trade execution and account reconciliation
- Facilitating monthly client reporting and presentation process
- Generating trade instructions
Qualifications
- 3+ years' work experience in financial services with strong knowledge of financial products and markets
- 3+ years of Securities operations experience gained in an RIA, Hedge Fund or Institutional Broker/Dealer
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written along with superior math skills
- An undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or related degree preferred
