What We Need:
Coldwell Solar is looking for a true turnkey Operations and Maintenance specialist for distributed renewable energy assets. Coldwell’s services include preventative and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring/ DAS analysis and reporting, engineering, installation, and retrofitting. Job Scope –
The Field Service Technician will be supporting the overarching goal to uphold high system uptimes and reduce potential downtimes across our fleet.
What You'll Do:
The core responsibilities for this role will be actively performing preventative and corrective maintenance including but not limited to inverter rebuilds or replacements, troubleshooting of AC and DC electrical system, troubleshooting communication issues and understanding and utilizing current technology to diagnose a system issue. Preferred
What You Need:
- Solar PV knowledge base and at least 4 years of relevant O&M
- Preference for technicians based in central to norther California
- Bachelor’s degree/ technical schooling, electrical experience, previous experience in a field service role, and/ or NABCEP certified
- Flexible and proficient in a fast-paced environment where time-management and efficiency are key.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with customer-centric mindset
- Willingness to travel
- Strong prioritization skills and respect for deadlines
- Fitness ability to climb ladders, operate lifts and capability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License
