GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing the logistics and operations related to the Omnichannel business from demand planning and inventory management through order processing and shipments from AG’s DCs to 3rd party warehouses, this Manager will work across functions to ensure the proper coordination exists to successfully satisfy orders for our products.
In addition, this position will be accountable for identifying opportunities and developing implementation plans for improving and optimizing the business processes and/or tools being utilized to manage inventory and fulfill orders.
Key partners that this role will collaborate with include leaders in the Manufacturing/Sourcing, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Shipping/Receiving departments. This position directly impacts the ability of the Omnichannel Team to achieve its financial growth and profitability objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the Omnichannel business are running efficiently and effectively; facilitate necessary collaboration between internal and external parties.
- Lead the development of a multi-year operations & logistics strategy including recommended capex or operating expense investments along with appropriate business case justifications
- Serve as primary liaison with Manufacturing/Sourcing on demand planning/forecasts; collaborate to drive improvements in ROA through increased inventory turn rates.
- Manage 3rd party logistics and operations partners for the Omnichannel business (e.g., PIM/DAM vendors, shipping vendors, etc); lead discussions on business requirements and ensure clarity and alignment exists on roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Note: Will assist in contract negotiations / supply agreements BUT primary lead will likely be in either Global Sourcing/Manufacturing or agDigital.
- Establish and maintain KPI reporting and/or a dashboard to monitor key metrics associated with demand planning, inventory management, order fulfillment, and product returns.
- Oversee audit process for charge-backs, credits and/or other fines levied on AG by Amazon (or other retail customers); drive for dispute resolution and ensure proper reconciliation with Finance dept.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset for the Operations & Logistics team members; influence AG Supply Chain peers to embrace channel-specific best practices to support Omnichannel growth.
- Proactively build and leverage a network of eCommerce Operations & Logistics professionals outside of AG; stay abreast of leading eCommerce industry tools and evaluate the opportunity to upgrade what we currently use.
- Remain up-to-date on retailers’ purchase order (PO) as well as shipping/receiving requirements (e.g., business processes, labels, EDI requirements, lead-times, packaging, etc); communicate changes in a timely manner with all relevant internal parties.
- Provide direct management along with performance management and coaching for both a Supply Chain Lead position and a Supply Chain Analyst position.
Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 4+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations.
- Working knowledge of AG internal operating systems (e.g., IDMSDC, CDM, EOP, UPC, OMS, SAR/Mainframe) preferred
- Project Management and/or end-to-end process mapping and improvement experience desired.
- Demonstrated people management and/or leadership skills

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or some related field.
