Job description
UTHealth Houston School of Public Health seeks faculty to lead in simulation modeling of the impact of public health policies, such as those related to Medicaid eligibility and service coverage. Simulation methods include agent-based modeling, microsimulation, system dynamics modeling, discrete event analysis, Markov modeling, and other dynamic econometric and engineering methods.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Conducting externally funded research focused on health priorities of Texas populations.
Mentoring emerging scholars in simulation modeling techniques.
Teaching in MPH and/or doctoral programs.
Serving in institutional and external capacities.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or DrPH.
Current or potential NIH-, HRSA, or PCORI- funding.
History of collegiality and openness to collaboration with a diverse range of partners, including community-based.
