Overview: ICR is a leading conveyor belt repair company with their headquarters located in Blairsville, PA. The company operates out of 5 branches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Alabama and West Virginia. ICR employees install, maintain, repair and replace conveyor belt systems throughout the tri-state area. Our major clients include coal and ore mining operations and energy producers.

General Job Description: Employees are responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on conveyor systems as well as conveyor system installations. The On Site Conveyor Belt Technician will report to a client site directly and assist in daily operations. This position will require a flexible schedule. Candidates must be willing to work extended hours to include weekends, holidays and evenings. Every other weekend off.

Daily tasks may include:

• Greasing rollers
• Roller change outs
• Set up / Tear down of support structure

• Support structure maintenance and repair
• Scraper installations

• Scraper maintenance and repair
• Belt maintenance which may include fourthane repair, mechanical splices, or vulcanized splices.
• Trouble-shoot, diagnosis, and repair a variety of issues that may arise with minimal direction and supervision
• Utilize hand and power tools

• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in a professional and workman-like manner
• Assist in other areas of the company and perform other duties as assigned
• Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have valid driver license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Lift 75-100 pounds.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and fit to work assessment.
• Basic math skills, ability to read and understand tape measurements, effective communication.
• Works safely all the time.

Pay:

• $17.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
• Performance based raises
