Job Description

Responsible for onboarding and maintenance of employee files, as well as policy interpretation and running bi-weekly payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and written, to all levels of the organization.
  • Assist in the hiring process by posting open positions on job boards as well as internally.
  • Initially screen applicants prior to hiring manager engagement.
  • Create and coordinate external and internal offers.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding.
  • Prepare payroll within Gusto (HRIS) and submit paperwork to the CFO for final approval.
  • Update and sustain Gusto regarding eligible and rollover PTO benefit hours.
  • Serve as the “go to” person for interpretation on all company policies.
  • Revise company policies as needed and monitor them to ensure appropriate adherence.
  • Serve as “Leave Administrator” for all types of workplace leave.
  • Maintain all formats of employee records with any updates received from the employee or their manager.
  • Create and organize an Employee Relations calendar to improve and maintain employee engagement.
  • Coordinate the annual review process with all managers and employees, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Conduct exit interviews with outgoing employees and analyze data/feedback for trends.
  • Maintain external and visitor NDA.
  • Point of contact for company travel preparations, when needed.
  • Prepare reports and presentations internally, as needed.
  • Assist CFO with Open Enrollment activities.
  • Other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Hands on experience with HR software
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Teamwork and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude

Compensation

Salaried exempt position, including health, vision, dental, & disability insurance, PTO, and 401K benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
