Job Description: We are a family-owned company looking for an Office Assistant with Accounting Experience to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, as well as assisting in the accounting, bookkeeping and data entry. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in office administration and accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing email correspondence
  • Accounts payable and general bookkeeping tasks
  • Be able to prepare financial reports and invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or similar role
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
