Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists Manager with staffing, team scheduling and ensuring coverage for Sleep Center during all hours of operation.
- Coordinates work flow utilizing clerical staff to evaluate and determine priority situations.
- Investigates problems and makes recommendation to the manager for resolutions.
- Participates in staff meetings with oversight of clinic manager.
- Assists with the recruitment and team interview process.
- Mentors new hires.
- Assists with coordination of and participates in orientation and staff development activities as requested.
- Participates effectively as a lead team member in being a resource and accountable to peers, providers and patients.
- At the direction of management, implements QA and core-competency guidelines as required.
- Assists with implementing process changes or other duties as assigned to meet clinic goals.
- Provides leadership to the clerical staff and is a liaison between the clerical staff and manager.
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional certifications/licensures.
- Assists with resolution of non-clinical patient complaints.
- Maintenance of office equipment.
- Maintains inventory of all front office supplies.
- Assists with performance standards and evaluation of clerical staff.
- Performs duties and functions of clerical staff, maintains competencies of such.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS :
- Attends meetings and participates on committees as required.
- Performs other related work as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
- High School graduate or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
- One year clinic office experience required.
Pay Range
$16.26 - $22.36 /hour
