Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Home is seeking a wonderful person to join our team! We are a family-owned, growing funeral home business in the East Valley. Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate with grieving families in a sensitive and sympathetic manner.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and empathize with people during one of their most challenging times.
  • Proficiency with technology and comfort in working with a variety of systems.
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and be the first point of contact for the business both on the phone and in person.
  • Coordinate efforts between the funeral home and cemetery to ensure the best possible experience for each family.
  • Run monthly and quarterly reports for the cemetery and provide basic bookkeeping and accounting functions.
  • Assist the Funeral Director in exceeding the expectations of each family we serve.
  • Assist families with placing obituaries, preparing memorial folders, and preparing register books.
  • Assist in obtaining the proper documentation needed for burial and cremation permits.
  • Assist in doing whatever is necessary to give each family the highest level of service possible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
