Job description
To create an instructional STEM/CTE program that will engage minds-on and hands-on learning through the use of technology, classroom instruction, and interactive lab projects. This position is a part of a team of STEM/CTE teachers to continue to advance the Oakville Middle/ High School STEM/CTE program through various elective and science equivalent courses taught to 6th thru 12th grade students. The teaching assignment could include a range of STEM/CTE class electives. Classes may include: Construction-Woods, Welding & Metals, Pre-Engineering, Engineering and Construction Management, and CORE Plus Approved Courses.The assignment will provide active middle/high school leadership, guidance, and supervision of Skills USA activities, competitions, community development projects, and more.
