miCare is currently seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join the team! In this role, under the direction of the Physician you will utilizes knowledge and skills to care for patients under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures and standards.

Position Location: 844 West Plymouth Ave. DeLand, FL 32720 & 840 Deltona Blvd. Unit M. Deltona, FL 32725

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical examinations
• Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients clinical problems and health care needs
• Records findings and formulates plan and prognosis
• Prescribes necessary prescriptions and other forms of treatment
• Refers appropriately to other fields of specialization
• Performs effective communication with miCare team and patient to ensure coordination of care

Required Experience / Education:

• Graduate of Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Program from an accredited school
• Current unencumbered license to practice
• 3+ years clinical experience preferably in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Current BLS certification
• Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
