S4 (8:00PM-6:30AM; MONDAY-THURSDAY)

S6 (6:00PM-6:30AM; FRIDAY-SUNDAY)

Position Purpose: The Molding Floater operates up to 20 injection molding machines for production. They inspect, label and package product in compliance with work instructions and customer requirements.

Quality:
Follow all packaging and sorting processes in the Molding Work Instructions (MWI)
Visually check all product for defects every 2 hours
Communicate with manufacturing personnel of any defects or concerns with product and document on the visual logs

Packaging and Sorting:
Fan sort all product for quality defects
Create product labels
Restock all packaging needed for jobs

Operate Injection Molding Machine:
Understand the basic knowledge of the injection molding machine
Maintain cycle times to ensure customer delivery dates are met

Cleanliness:
Keep work area clean per company housekeeping standards

Safety:
Understanding the basic safety procedures

Other duties as needed

Qualifications/Experience:

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
Ability to stand and work on feet for up to three hours at a time

Desired
Knowledge of visual quality defects
Introductory Delmiaworks ERP System (IQMS)
