Job Description: Country Inn and Suites Lansing is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and delivering exceptional service to our valued guests during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct night audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions, balancing accounts, and generating accurate reports.
• Verify and post charges to guest accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Review guest folios for discrepancies and promptly resolve billing issues.
• Monitor surveillance camera footage to ensure the safety and security of guests and the premises.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
• Assist with the check-in process for late arriving guests, ensuring a seamless transition into their accommodations.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to the management team and relevant departments.
• Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure a smooth shift transition and exceptional guest service.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in night audit or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency in using property management systems and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with monitoring surveillance cameras is preferred.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety procedures is an advantage.
