Sylint is an internationally recognized cyber security and digital data forensics firm with extensive experience discretely addressing some of today’s biggest breaches, incidents, and precedent-setting court cases. The company is seeking an experienced senior network administrator and support professional with a strong background in cyber security. The ideal candidate will be able to interface well with others and have a broad range of technical and communications (written & verbal) skills, including familiarity with security tools and applications, as well as strong network and server experience:

Networking- Strong experience in TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and switches is required. Knowledge of Sonicwall, Cisco ASA or similar is helpful.

Server Support- Strong Windows server experience required. Linux CentOS knowledge helpful, along with experience in VMWare ESXi Hypervisor and knowledge of backup applications such as StorageCraft or similar tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of:

• Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Communication methods, principles, and concepts that support the network infrastructure.
• Local and Wide Area Network connections.
• Information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).
• Server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods.
• Network tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, nslookup)
• Network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
• Information classification program and procedures for information compromise.
• Network protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
