Location: 8700 Beverly Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90048

Shift Information: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- We are seeking a highly capable medical-surgical nurse to join our team. In this role, you will need to maintain professional relationships and act as a guide and advocate. On occasions, you may need to use your professional judgment to make tough decisions that might not always be well received by those you’re trying to help.

Responsibilities-

• conduct interviews with individuals and families to assess and review their situation
• undertake and write up assessments (sometimes in collaboration with other professionals), which meet specified standards and timescales
• offer information and support
• organise and manage packages of support to enable people to lead the fullest lives possible
• recommend and sometimes make decisions about the best course of action for a particular person or family
• liaise with, and make referrals to, other agencies
• participate in multidisciplinary teams and meetings regarding, for example, child protection or mental health

Requirements-

• State License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified as a Hospice and Palliative Social Worker desirable.
• Attention to detail.
• Board of Oncology Social Work Certification desirable.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Pay $2080 to $2260/week on W2
