Envision Redesign, a fast-growing home staging and redesign company serving the Greater Boston area is seeking a Mover/ Driver to join our home staging team. We turn our client's properties into model homes by providing furniture, accessories, and artwork to help sell their properties quickly and for the best price. Properties go from a blank slate to fully furnished in a matter of hours.

Responsibilities:

• As a Mover/ Driver, you will work as part of a team to safely pack, load, drive and unload all staging furnishings from our warehouse to the client's property in the Greater Boston area.
• You will be packing and unpacking our staging props for moving, and placing and arranging items throughout our client's properties.
• You will be leading the move, working with a mover helper and you will be driving our 20' box truck both within the city of Boston as well as suburbs in the Greater Boston area
• You will be working independently to pack and move staging props out of client properties when the project is complete and re-stock in warehouse.
• You will help us keep our warehouse neat and organized so items are always ready for the next job.
• You will help unpack and assemble new furniture/ inventory to be used in future stagings.
• You will take care of small furniture repairs when needed.
• The vast majority of moves will be for our staging business, but occasional residential moves, or moves for other staging businesses will be included when the schedule allows.

Job Details & Requirements:

• This position is full-time, Mon-Fri, with hours typically between 8am-5pm. No evenings/weekends. Must be able to work full days during the week.
• Must have own reliable transportation to/ from our warehouse in Woburn.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have clean driving record (to work with our insurance).
• CDL not required, however, prior experience as a mover/ driver of a box truck in the Boston area is a must.
• Must have clean criminal background.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have strong team management skills (ability to lead, delegate, mentor, show respect...)
• Be able to be self-managed and work with little supervision
• Have friendly, polite and fun personality
• Have strong customer service skills, as well as command of English language for interaction with our clients
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills which translate to efficient moves
• Be dependable, reliable, and on time - always.
• Be physically able to carry furniture, bins of accessories, art work, soft good bags etc within/in/out of properties, and up/down stairs (up to 100lbs) for 8 hours a day.
• Must have experience as a lead mover, properly protecting furnishings and safely loading a truck as well as drive and perform moves on busy city streets as well as mentoring and training less experienced movers.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have strong command of English language
