About the Role

Uber AdOps is part of the Marketing Technology Operations Team and is focused on the management of Uber’s performance marketing campaigns. The team is highly operational, technical and analytical, responsible for setting up tracking links, spend ingestion and data sharing ETLs across all paid marketing ad network channels and campaigns.
A successful candidate is an expert in App Tracking technology and a proactive thinker, flexible with shifting project priorities. You are comfortable managing large quantities of information and building systems to synthesize and simplify data. You have experience integrating and managing Marketing tech stack on both client-side & server-side applications. You will proactively identify new areas of improvement that will help better tools, data quality, reliability, and marketing products.

What You'll Do

  • Identify new opportunities for paid marketing teams in using MMPs (Singular/Branch), Firebase etc. to support the business
  • Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and complete go to market plans for mobile app to enable analytics to measure marketing performance
  • Support the definition of key metrics such as customer lifetime value, cost per Install, and return on investment
  • Understand and navigate changes in the privacy landscape (Apple ATT, GDPR, CCPA etc.) on paid marketing attribution
  • Understand mobile app SDKs and work with mobile engineers by providing them requirements for building in house 1st party tracking and measurement capabilities
  • Understand and help with QA/documentation on launching new app tracking, deep-linking, deferred deep-linking, data sharing etc.
  • Build up app reporting & analytics on MMP data
  • Be a liaison and manage relationships with vendor partners
  • Work with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, Tech, BI, Operations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field
  • 4+years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Advertising or Marketing subject areas with data & tracking related technical exposure
  • Expertise in SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics
  • Basic technical knowledge in Web Tracking


For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $128,000 per year - $142,000 per year.


For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $128,000 per year - $142,000 per year.
