CarePortal is a ministry platform that supports an interdenominational network of Churches, businesses, people who care, and child serving agencies for the good of children and families in crisis in their community. This network is supported by a team that develops relationships, infrastructure, and technology to empower each participating church. CarePortal is currently searching for a full-time Mobile Developer to be part of the growing tech team to make CarePortal a world class platform that serves children around the world. The right candidate is a proven, productive, IT professional specialized in developing mobile applications with two years' experience in systems like Flutter, React, Swift or Kotlin. The Mobile Developer will also need to have a solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including building and releasing on both iOS and Android. - Develop, record and maintain multiple mobile applications that mirror and support our proprietary software CarePortal and database
- Ensure coding style and standards are consistent across applications
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
- Lead the entire mobile application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
- Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
- Collaborate regularly with fellow team members including support staff and junior developers
- Keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in mobile development

Other Stuff we love to see:
Regular acts of service and humility beyond mere coding skills- Actions that raise the operating level of the entire team
- Experience with mobile internationalization and localization
- Experience with Firebase tools
- Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design (Laravel strong plus)
- MySQL profiling and query optimization
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field experience
