Job description

The Messenger Courier position must be able to:

• Ability to lift 70lbs without restrictions

• Sort and Pitch mail to various mail cases according to the recipient address to prepare for strapping and delivery

• Sort packages, and supplies daily

• Deliver packages, and supplies daily

• Operate hand-held mobiles to deliver packages

• Remain knowledgeable and answer questions related to mail and package services

• Greet clients, ask whether they would like assistance with anything and provide help if needed in a friendly hospitable manner.

• Load and unload mail and packages from APC’s and pallets

• Push/ pull mail carts and APC’s up and down long hallways

• Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high-volume production environment

• Handle time sensitive and confidential mail

• Maintain accurate accountability logs related to mail and supply delivery

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent

“The pay range for this position is $16.10 an hour with an additional adder; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
