Mental Health Technician (Full time)

Hours:
Position 1) Friday through Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday off) 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Position 2) Monday through Friday (Saturday and Sunday off) 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Performs specialized human service work in the Community Mental Health Crisis Center utilizing group process and individual skill building to assist clients in resolving a variety of mental health problems.
Ability to lift 70 pounds in conjunction with proper transfer and control techniques.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent with at least 6 months experience/education in the delivery of mental health services that include interacting with patients experiencing psycho-social problems, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Employees must work a least 30 hours per week to be eligible for insurance benefits.
Vacation leave, sick leave, and holidays are prorated for part time employees based upon the hours worked per week.
Temporary, seasonal, and on-call employees are not eligible for benefits.
