Job description

Creates, maintains, and closes client’s charts with all proper documentation that includes but is not limited to: OASIS, pre-billing audit tool, face to face encounter, manual calendar, communication log, doctor’s orders and plan of care.

Responsible for entering and updating information of clients and physicians in AXXESS and monitoring patient’s eligibility.

Schedules and coordinates visits of all disciplines in AXXESS following the frequency established in the Plan of Care and Mod orders.

Faxes documents to the doctors and contacts their office to follow up on pending orders and POC signature.

Responsible submitting Notice of Admission (NOA) and OASIS Export to CMS

Responsible for submitting Pre-Claim Review (PCRs) to Palmetto GBA.

Responsible for the whole Billing process and submission to Palmetto GBA.

Creates and maintain subcontractors staff records; ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date including, licenses, CEUs, certificates, etc.

Assist the nurses to order medical supplies as needed. Receives and reviews invoices from vendors and subcontractors to ensure accuracy.

Produces and confirms accuracy of payroll report including mileage, tolls and other applicable expenses. Provides report to payroll specialist and summarizes via email the payroll completion for the week.

Develops On-Call schedule and provides it to the assigned On-Call personnel.

Assists in providing access for new users to Axxess system.

Run reports as needed, including quarterly Medicare Credit Balance Report.

Work on special projects as directed by the DON.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
