The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center , Henderson Hospitaland Valley Health Specialty Hospital.

We are looking for a Medical Technologist with at least five years of experience in a hospital or laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of laboratory procedures and have excellent customer service skills. The Medical Technologist position offers innovative benefits, such as flexible hours and a great work-life balance, so applicants should be reliable, responsible, and comfortable multi-tasking, working with others in a team environment and making quick and accurate decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with timely responses to inquiries.
• Follow protocols to reduce errors.
• Interact with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Assess customer needs and assist them in meeting their goals.
• Perform diagnostic testing on samples under the supervision of a pathologist.
• Interpret test results for laboratory management.
• Become proficient in a specialty area within the laboratory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $30.51 - $39.95 per hour
