This position is responsible for daily operations of our internal medicine facilities and ensuring that these operate based on the goals for clinical excellence in a positive, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

As a Director of Operations, you are responsible for overseeing practice operations of all primary care physician's offices in conjunction with the office managers and assistant managers. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all practices overseen and meeting or exceeding patient volume, quality, and provider metric goals along with quarterly compliance responsibilities. You are responsible for training and evaluating all primary-care office managers and assistant managers overseen and ensuring accountability from all staff members. This also includes involvement in hiring, dismissals, and interviewing any potential staff.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

• A minimum of 3 years of health care management or supervisory experience in an out-patient physician office- preferably in Primary Care.
• Knowledge of medical practice operations and excellent computer skills are required.
• Strong computer skills with EMR/EHR experience. eClinicalworks preferred.
• Must be communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
