We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical billing and coding procedures, as well as knowledge of insurance policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting claims to insurance providers, verifying patient information, tracking payments and resolving any discrepancies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information into the billing system.
• Review and process medical claims in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all billing activities.
• Ensure that all billing codes are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and disputes.
• Provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.

Total Family Healthcare is currently interviewing candidates for a full time and part time medical biller based primarily in the Bay City office. The position comes with a competitive wage, health and dental benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off. Candidates should have clerical experience in a medical settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to be organized and self motivated.
